Eve Arnold was an American photojournalist and the first woman to join Magnum Photos in 1951, becoming a full member in 1957. She is particularly renowned for her decade-long collaboration with Marilyn Monroe, capturing candid and intimate moments that revealed the actress’ vulnerability behind her public persona. Among these, her photographs from the set of The Misfits (1960) stand out, depicting Monroe during a challenging period in her life, and demonstrating Arnold’s empathetic approach to portraiture. – A few minimal handling dents, otherwise in very good condition.
